TThe fungus known as candida is a stubborn sort. Million of U.S. citizens visit the doctor every year in an effort to alleviate the itching, burning, and rashes that result from yeast infections.
Rightfully so, it is always a great idea to visit a physician with health concerns. They know what has been giving you difficulty, and do a great job of knowing what will work well with your body's chemistry and current medications. Adding one drop of geranium oil per ounce of carrier oil or aloe is a great start. The strong fragrance from even one drop illustrates how strong the antifungal properties are of the herb. With any essential oil, be sure it is properly diluted as a concentration is too strong it can absorb into the bloodstream having negative effects on your internal organs. Used in moderation, however, the medicinal effects are miraculous.
Lavender. This herb has the amazing quality of being harsh on ailments and gentle on the human body. In the world of alternative medicine, lavender is considered to be one of the safest essential oils to use. Three drops for every ounce of carrier oil or aloe can have amazing effects for combating candida. Apply to the problem area, and within hours symptoms begin to subside. Within days the infection is greatly reduced. Using loose lavender blooms as a tea is beneficial to the digestive system and works to alleviate fungal, viral, and bacterial invasions.
